A Flavorful Feast

Guess what the baby had for lunch yesterday.

I’m glad he puts those new teeth to good use.
Luckily, Dax decided it wasn’t quite tasty enough.ย  I found little bits and pieces of foam all over the living room.

Grumpy Mom Goal of the Day:ย  Keep a closer eye on my not-so-picky eater.

  1. Oh it's a POTTY! Couldn't figure it out; I guess they've changed in the 4 or so years since I've “been there.”…:))

  2. LOL that is both funny and gross! What are ya gonna do?

  3. I Am Not Superwoman says:

And of all things the potty chair. Ick! Glad he didn't like the taste. Maybe time to start using the big potty so he can't take a bite out of that seat…lol

  4. Oh my gosh. It is amazing what kids look at and think “I want to eat that”.

  5. It is so funny that kids do that!! Bella (9 months) puts EVERY THING in her mouth!! We caught her chewing on the back of my cousin's flip flop!! EWWWW! And he didn't even notice!

  6. Oh my goodness, those children of yours are hilarious! ๐Ÿ™‚ I'm not sure which is more gross…eating part of your potty OR taking an apple out of the trashcan (that your brother had already eaten)and eating it (like Mia did! :))

  7. LOL-That is too funny….and yucky!! I have that same potty!! At least he didn't swallow those pieces!

  8. Oh my gosh! I couldn't figure out what it was!

And… I love your blog and really really love the “goal of the day” I just love that you put a positive twist on all things mommy/toddler

  9. OMG! Too funny! The things a baby/toddler will put in their mouth!
My toddler likes to bite his cloth diapers. Don't worry, they are clean when he does it, but still. Gross!

  10. OMG! So funny & gross!! hA!

  11. So funny! You wonder how they look at things and think – why that's something tasty I'd like to try!

  12. Too funny! Thanks for sharing. I should be glad that my daughter did not do that ๐Ÿ™‚ Kids are so funny.

    Blessings!

  13. My 15 month old likes to eat toilet paper. Whenever the bathroom door gets left open (which with a 4 & 3 year old happens a lot) you can be sure to find him with either his hands in the toilet, unrolling the toilet paper into a big pile on the floor or sneaking bites. So gross!

  14. all i can say is every youngsters does put anything on their mouth to explore

  15. lol Eww!

  16. Gheesh, Janae! You need to feed your kids ๐Ÿ™‚

Of course, I realized it was all over when Goldie dropped her gum right by the toilet in the public bathroom stall … and put it back into her mouth before I could stop her. Nothing looks that bad after an experience like that ๐Ÿ˜‰

  17. Oh man! LOL! I thought it was a toilet bowl sponge or something. I was pretty close.

  18. Wow I don't know whether to laugh or be worried!

  19. Okay, gross! But kids are pretty resilient! Look at it as an opportunity to strengthen his immune system! ๐Ÿ™‚

  20. That is both too funny, and eww eww eww! Little ones will eat anything! ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. LOL! Better out than in, I guess!

  22. Have read several of your posts, and love your honest portrayal of motherhood…foibles and all! I especially love your goals at the end of the posts…showing lessons learned. Very cute!

  23. Ok I am so SLOW. I had to look at the pictures over and over before I figured out what was for lunch.

  24. You're killing me. That's hysterical!
